OVERVIEW

This Caregiver Course is designed to prepare skilled and compassionate caregivers to provide appropriate care and support to people in need, including the elderly, patients, and individuals with disabilities. Based on the official CTEVT curriculum, the caregiver training course focuses on developing essential knowledge, practical caregiving skills, and an appropriate professional attitude.

This caregiver certification course covers subjects from environment, health, and sanitation to emergency response, hygienic care, maternal care, and even entrepreneurship development for graduates who want to start their own caregiving service one day.

Through hands-on caregiver classes and practical training, students build real skills in daily care, hygiene, nutrition, emergency response, and professional communication and reporting. The course aims to develop competent caregivers who can work confidently in home care, hospitals, and care facilities.

Additionally, students receive a Global Career-Ready Program (6 weeks) in collaboration with Australian Pacific International College (APIC), helping you build the skills, confidence, and profile employers actually look for. This certified caregiver training doesn't just prepare you for a job in Nepal; it is a genuine pathway to caregiving opportunities abroad.

What You'll Learn

CURRICULUM

Environment, Health, and Sanitation

Learn to create a safe, healthy, and stimulating care environment, use amenities properly, care for pets, and promote awareness of common health problems and diseases affecting children and senior citizens.

Nutrition

Learn the fundamentals of human nutrition and how to provide safe, effective nutritional services to the people in your care.

Emergency and First Aid

Respond confidently to workplace emergencies and deliver essential first aid care when it matters most.

Hygienic Care

Apply comfort measures, promote and deliver hygienic care services, and monitor client wellbeing.

Maternal Care

Carry out maternal care services and support women through pregnancy, birth, postnatal recovery, and newborn care, including breastfeeding and immunization.

Communication and Counselling

Build the communication and counseling skills needed to work effectively with clients and their families.

Entrepreneurship Development

Understand the concept of enterprise, identify a business idea, build a plan, and learn to keep preliminary business records.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

Age 18–38, SEE (Grade X) passed

Applicants must be aged 18–38 years with a minimum of SEE (Grade X) passed and basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
